Everyone seek the key to happiness outwardly
but only the wise know it lies within.!

This summer I've been pondering whether or not I was ready to take the plunge and buy another car. Have to say, buying a car has never been my favorite activity. It's something about a woman walking into a dealership that brings the con out in so many car salespeople, and sad but true, they're not all men. This month I thought I'd share with you pointers on how to deal with buying a car without all the stress and nonesense that has become all too common when a woman decides to purchase a car.

Negotiating Tips When You Buy A Car

Negotiating a good deal can be very profitable when you buy a car.

Being a good negotiator doesn't have to be difficult. And when you consider that negotiating will almost always get you a better deal, you'll be more inclined to try it.

When you are trying to negotiate with a car dealer, you're dealing with an expert. You will need to know how to get through their "car speak" in order to be successful.

Once you learn to calculate your offer and know what the dealer paid for it, you should get a copy of the paperwork from a friend that recently bought a car, so that you can become familiar with what you will see on your paperwork. They are all generally the same.

If you've followed these tips, and are pre-approved for a loan, you must next focus on getting in and out of the dealership as quickly as possible. Otherwise, the salesman will certainly find more loopholes to hike up your costs if you stay.

Here are a few tips to successful negotiating.

    - Remain positive and confident

    - Don't talk down to your opponent

    - Show up prepared and ready to counter anything that may come up

    - Bring ads from other dealerships with you

    - **Finance your loan before you arrive at the dealership so as to avoid paying unnecessary extra fees

    - Bring a friend with you for extra support

** Regena's broadening of point!Another reason to arrive at the dealership with your own financing is to save your credit rating from a hard licking. Dealerships today usually rates compare with as few as two to as many as twenty different financial institutions at once. All of these inquiries are not good for your overall credit rating and could hurt your chances of getting a reasonable interest rate on your auto purchase so be prepared. *********************

For Your Information

Today take some time out of the day and treat yourself to a cookie break, you deserve it.

These cookies are my personal favorites. You really do have to refrigerate them for one hour before cooking. It’s Grandma’s secret tip for making them turn out right. Also, you need to sift your flour first and then measure out your three cups.

Ingredients:

3 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup soft butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla

Topping:

1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Directions:

1. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. (The easiest way to do this is with your sifter. It doesn’t hurt the flour to be re-sifted.) Set your dry mixture aside.
2. Combine and bean butter, sugar and eggs until they are light and fluffy.
3. Blend in the sour cream and vanilla until the mixture is nice and smooth.
4. Add your dry mixture gradually.
5. Refrigerate your cookie dough for one hour.
6. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
7. Drop tablespoon sized cookie dough mixture onto your greased cookie sheet, making sure they are about two and 1/2 inches apart. (Dough will puff up and spread out.)
8. Sprinkle your cookies with topping.
9. Bake the cookies 10 to 12 minutes or until the tops of the cookies are a light golden brown color.

Makes 3 1/2 to 4 dozen cookies.
