It's apparent that wear and tear on a vehicle without proper
maintenance will eventually send it to a repair shop. It will
just quit! This pertains to any vehicle whether it is a living,
breathing one or a finely tuned Cadillac.
Yet knowingly we use and abuse our vehicle that houses our most
precious gifts, our mind and spirit. Why is it that we cannot see
what stress and chaos do to it? Why is it that we continue to put
it through a stress test day in and day out?
Have you ever thought of the internal pain and agony your vehicle
experiences when messages such as "Hey, look stop doing that, or
hey, slow down" are ignored? Maybe what is needed is a conscious
awakening to the source of these messages. Your spirit! Is it
running sluggish? Pretty good sign that it's time to take a
breather. Why wait until the check engine light comes on causing
total breakdown when you know you have the means and the ability
to prevent it.
There are so many great maintenance programs to choose from that
help relieve the effects of every day stress. Let's take a look
at a couple of them.
Sharing is one, don't keep it all bottled up inside. Doing that
causes the temperature light to come on and what follows is a
heated overflow of feelings. You get burned and so does anyone
else that happens to be around you at the time.
Quiet time, another quality prevention! Stop and listen to your
spirit purr when you take time for you. Ignoring you can cause
knocks and pings that are devastating to your well being-ness.
You wouldn't run your car with all that noise going on under the
hood. So why accept all the noise when it comes to you? Take some
Shhhhhh time to pamper you.
The list of programs that prevent wear and tear are ongoing when
it comes to maintaining the vehicle that houses our most precious
means of staying in tip top running condition. Total gym
workouts, walking, and meditation are all on the list. Pay
attention to the mileage and seek the proper preventative
maintenance program that works for you. Don't find yourself
stranded on the side of the road because you choose to ignore the
affects that every day stress has on your state of the art
vehicle! YOU!
