1/2 cups canned or mashed cooked pumpkin
3/4 cups sugar
1/2 teasp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 beaten eggs
1 1/4 cups milk
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
Thoroughly combine the pumpkin, sugar, salt, and the spices. Blend in eggs, milk and evaporated milk. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Be sure not to over fill the pie crust because it'll boil unto the oven floor. Bake in hot oven 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
